A Timeline of Roots

From the first saplings in 2019 to today's apprenticeships, healing rooms, and concerts.

  1. 2019

    Work & Guard begins

    Holy Land Herbs and the Work & Guard NGO begin planting fruit trees in Bat Shlomo and partner gardens.

  2. 2021

    First apprentices

    The herb gardens host their first cohort of seasonal apprentices learning planting, harvesting, and distillation.

  3. 2023

    Healing center opens

    The restored Templar stone building opens its first practitioner rooms and meditation deck.

  4. 2024

    Tu B'Shvat campaign

    1,400 trees planted in a single season; partnership formalized with Fruit Trees 4 Israel.

  5. 2025

    Year of growth

    3,212 trees, 47 acres, 18 farmers supported, 412 practitioner sessions, 12 healing concerts.

  6. 2026

    5,000-tree goal

    Q1 underway with 812 trees in the ground and the first farm-to-table Shabbat dinner series.
